A NASA image shows the Arctic Polar ice cap in 2004. The 1979ice boundary is superimposed. Compared to 1979, thew north polar ice cap is now 20% smaller during the summer. Arctic temperatures are rising twice as fast as they are in the rest of the world.Link/Links: Arctic summer circa '2013'
